حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ النَّسَائِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الرَّهَاوِيَّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

خَيْرُ مَا يَخْلُفُ الْمَرْءَ بَعْدَهُ ثَلَاثًا: وَلَدًا صَالِحًا يَدْعُو لَهُ فَيَبْلُغُهُ دُعَاؤُهُ، أَوْ صَدَقَةً تَجْرِي فَيَبْلُغُهُ أَجْرُهَا، أَوْ عِلْمًا يُعْمَلُ بِهِ بَعْدَهُ

✧ The best of what a person leaves behind after him are three: a righteous child who prays for him and whose supplication reaches him, or a charity that continues and whose reward reaches him, or knowledge that is acted upon after him.

    يرويه زيد بن أبي أنيسة واختلف عنه فرواه أبو عبد الرحيم عن زيد بن أبي أنيسة عن زيد بن أسلم عن عبد الله بن أبي قتادة عن أبيه وخالفه يزيد بن سنان فرواه عن زيد بن أبي أنيسة عن فليح بن سليمان عن زيد بن أسلم وقول يزيد بن سنان أصح
