حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عَمَلٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ
Translation

✧ When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: a continuous charity, or knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a righteous child who prays for him.
