✧ I witnessed the house on the day Uthman was attacked. He looked out at us and said, 'O people, I remind you by God and Islam: do you know that the Messenger of God ﷺ came to Madinah and there was no well with sweet water except Rumah? He said, "Whoever buys Rumah and makes his bucket in it like the buckets of the Muslims, he will have better than it in Paradise." They said, "O God, yes." He said, "I bought it from my own pure money, and you are preventing me from breaking my fast on it until I break my fast on seawater."'
