✧ Mu'awiyah b. Abi Sufyan used to command them to give the charity of Ramadan as half a Sa' of wheat or a Sa' of dates. Abu Sa'id said: "We will not give except what we used to give during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of dried yoghurt, or a Sa' of raisins, or a Sa' of barley."
