✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prepared for Hajj and ordered the people to prepare with him. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out and the people set out with him. When he arrived, I came to him. He said: “What prevented you from going out with us on this journey of ours, O Umm Ma‘qil?” I said: O Messenger of Allah, I had prepared, but this sore afflicted us, and Abū Ma‘qil died, and I was struck with illness from it. We had a camel that we wanted to travel on, but Abū Ma‘qil bequeathed it in the way of Allah. He said: “Why did you not go out on it? For Hajj is in the way of Allah.”
