✧ That Abu Bakr wrote to him: In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. This is the obligatory charity that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ imposed upon the Muslims, which Allah commanded His Messenger. Then they mentioned the hadith, and they said in the hadith: Whoever owes a jadha‘ah as charity but does not have a jadha‘ah and has a hiqqah, it will be accepted from him, and he will add with it two sheep if they are easy for him, or twenty dirhams. Bundar said: 'And he gives in its place two sheep. And whoever owes a hiqqah as charity but does not have a hiqqah and has a jadha‘ah, the jadha‘ah will be accepted from him, and the collector will give him twenty dirhams or two sheep. And whoever owes a hiqqah but has only a bint labun, a bint labun will be accepted from him, and he will give with it two sheep or twenty dirhams. And whoever owes a bint labun but does not have one and has a hiqqah, the hiqqah will be accepted from him, and the collector will give him with it twenty dirhams or two sheep. And whoever owes a bint labun but does not have one and has a bint makhad, a bint makhad will be accepted from him, and he will give with it twenty dirhams or two sheep. And whoever owes a bint makhad but does not have one and has a bint labun, a bint labun will be accepted from him, and the collector will give him twenty dirhams or two sheep. And whoever does not have a bint makhad as required and has a male ibn labun, it will be accepted from him and nothing with it.'
