  • Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr

المحفوظ فيه حديث أبي هريرة مرفوعا وموقوفا وحديث عبد العزيز الماجشون عندي فيه خطأ في الإسناد

machine translationWhat is preserved (maḥfūẓ) on this subject is the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, both as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ) and as halted at the Companion (mawqūf). As for the ḥadīth of ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Mājishūn, in my view it contains an error in the chain of transmission (isnād).
