✧ The delegation of Abd al-Qays came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, this tribe of Rabi'a, and the disbelievers of Mudar have come between us and you, and we can only reach you during the sacred month. So command us with something we can take and call those behind us to." He said: "I command you with four things and forbid you from four. I command you to believe in Allah, to testify that there is no god but Allah, to establish the prayer, to give the zakat, and to give one-fifth of the spoils of war. And I forbid you from al-dubba', al-hantam, al-naqir, and al-muzaffat."
