حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا زَيْدٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحُبَابِ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ لُدَيْنٍ - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
الْجُمُعَةُ عِيدٌ، فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ صِيَامًا، إِلَّا أَنْ يُصَامَ قَبْلَهُ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ

يرويه معاوية بن صالح واختلف عنه فرواه ابن وهب عن معاوية بن صالح عن أبي بشر مؤذن مسجد دمشق عن عامر بن لدين عن أبي هريرة وخالفه أسد بن موسى فرواه عن معاوية بن صالح عن أبي بشر عن عامر بن لدين عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ووهم فيه أسد والصحيح عن أبي هريرة
machine translationMuʿāwiyah b. Ṣāliḥ narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Ibn Wahb narrated it from Muʿāwiyah b. Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Bishr, the muezzin of the mosque of Damascus, from ʿĀmir b. Ludayn, from Abū Hurayrah. Asad b. Mūsā contradicted him and narrated it from Muʿāwiyah b. Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Bishr, from ʿĀmir b. Ludayn, from the Prophet ﷺ. Asad erred in this, and the correct version is from Abū Hurayrah.

يرويه الأعمش واختلف عنه فرواه أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة موقوفا وروي عن حفص بن غياث عن الأعمش مرفوعا وكذلك رواه حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة مرفوعا قاله ابن حميد عن هارون عن عنبسة عن ابن أبي ليلى عنه ورفعه صحيح عن أبي هريرة وروي هذا الحديث عن مجاهد عن أبي هريرة وقد اختلف عنه فرفعه جعفر بن مكرم عن أبي داود عن شعبة عن منصور عن مجاهد عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ووقفه غندر وغيره عن شعبة وهو الصحيح
machine translationAl-Aʿmash narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). It was also reported from Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth, from al-Aʿmash, as attributed to the Prophet (marfūʿ). Likewise Ḥabīb b. Abī Thābit narrated it from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah, as marfūʿ; Ibn Ḥumayd said this, from Hārūn, from ʿAnbasah, from Ibn Abī Laylā, from him. Its being raised to the Prophet (rafʿ) is sound from Abū Hurayrah. This hadith was also reported from Mujāhid, from Abū Hurayrah, and there is disagreement about him as well. Jaʿfar b. Mukram raised it, from Abū Dāwūd, from Shuʿbah, from Manṣūr, from Mujāhid, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. But Ghundar and others narrated it from Shuʿbah as mawqūf, and that is the correct one.
