✧ We set out with the Messenger of God ﷺ when two nights of Ramadan had passed. We set out fasting until we reached al-Kadid, and he commanded us to break our fast. So we awoke as two groups: among us were those who fasted and those who broke their fast. When we reached Marr al-Zahran and he informed us of the meeting with the enemy, he commanded us to break our fast, and we broke it.
