حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ يَعْنِي الثَّقَفِيَّ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ أَيْضًا، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، [قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا] إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ وَهُوَ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ:

سَافَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَمِنَّا الصَّائِمُ وَمِنَّا الْمُفْطِرُ، فَلَمْ يَعِبِ الْمُفْطِرُ عَلَى الصَّائِمِ، وَلَا الصَّائِمُ عَلَى الْمُفْطِرِ " وَكَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ مَنْ وَجَدَ قُوَّةً فَصَامَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ حَسَنٌ جَمِيلٌ، وَمَنْ وَجَدَ ضَعْفًا فَأَفْطَرَ فَذَلِكَ حَسَنٌ جَمِيلٌ

✧ We traveled with the Messenger of God ﷺ in Ramadan, and among us were those who fasted and those who broke the fast. The one who broke the fast did not criticize the one who fasted, nor did the one who fasted criticize the one who broke the fast. They considered that whoever found strength and fasted, that was good and excellent, and whoever found weakness and broke the fast, that was good and excellent.
