أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ - هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ - عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:

قِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: رَأَيْنَاكَ تَفْعَلُ شَيْئًا لَمْ نَرَ أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُهُ غَيْرَكَ. قَالَ: وَمَا هُوَ ؟ قَالُوا: رَأَيْنَاكَ تَلْبَسُ هَذِهِ النِّعَالَ السِّبْتِيَّةَ قَالَ: إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَلْبَسُهَا وَيَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهَا، وَيَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهَا

✧ It was said to Ibn 'Umar: We have seen you do something we have not seen anyone else do. He said: What is it? They said: We have seen you wear these sibti sandals. He said: Indeed, I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ wearing them and performing wudu in them, and wiping over them.
