أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَا: جَمِيعًا. وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ يَعْنِي الْحَدَّادَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، وَحَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ وَبَرَةَ الْعُجَيْفِيِّ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ ". لَمْ يَقُلِ ابْنُ مَنِيعٍ: الْعُجَيْفِيُّ وَفِي خَبَرِ وَكِيعٍ: " مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ، أَوْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ

✧ Whoever abandons Jumu'ah without an excuse, let him give a dinar in charity; if he cannot find it, then half a dinar. Ibn Mani' did not say 'al-Ujayfi.' In the report of Waki': 'Whoever misses Jumu'ah, let him give a dinar or half a dinar in charity.'

machine translationThis is the wording of the hadith of al-ʿAnbarī, and the Shaykh Abū Bakr did not add anything to us in it beyond the mursal form. Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Bālawayh informed me: ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal narrated to us, he said: I heard my father when he was asked about the hadith of Hammām from Qatādah, and Khallād b. al-ʿAlāʾ's narration of it, and he said: Hammām is more reliable in memorization with us than Ayyūb b. al-ʿAlāʾ.
