✧ While the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the Friday khutbah standing, a caravan from Madinah arrived. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rushed to it, and only twelve men remained with him, among them Abu Bakr and Umar. The verse was revealed: 'When they see merchandise or diversion, they scatter off to it and leave you standing.'
