أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ: " لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ عَلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ بُيُوتَهُمْ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to a people who stayed behind from Jumu'ah: 'I was on the verge of ordering a man to lead the people in prayer, then setting fire to the houses of men who stay behind from Jumu'ah.'
