أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

لَمَّا اسْتَوَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ قَالَ لِلنَّاسِ: " اجْلِسُوا، فَسَمِعَهُ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَجَلَسَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " تَعَالَ يَا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ sat firmly on the minbar, he said to the people: "Sit down." Ibn Mas'ud heard him while he was at the gate of the mosque, so he sat down. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: "Come here, O Ibn Mas'ud."
