✧ He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing on a bow or a staff when he came to them. He said: I heard him saying: 'By the sky and the night comer.' I knew it in the ignorant era while I was a polytheist, then I recited it in Islam. Thaqif called me and said: 'What did you hear from this man?' So I recited it to them. Those of Quraysh who were with them said: 'We know our companion better. If we knew that what he says is true, we would have followed him.'
