أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِذَا اجْتَمَعَ ثَلَاثَةٌ أَمَّهُمْ أَحَدُهُمْ، وَأَحَقُّهُمْ بِالْإِمَامَةِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ

Translation

  5. al-Jurayrī
  6. Abū Naḍrah
  7. Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī
  8. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ When three come together, one of them should lead them, and the most entitled of them to lead is the one who recites the Qur'an best.
