أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ، عَنْ لَيْلَى بِنْتِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا. وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ خَلَّادٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ وَرَقَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ:

انْطَلِقُوا بِنَا نَزُورُ الشَّهِيدَةَ، وَأَذِنَ لَهَا أَنْ يُؤَذَّنَ لَهَا، وَأَنْ تَؤُمَّ أَهْلَ دَارِهَا فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ، وَكَانَتْ قَدْ جَمَعَتِ الْقُرْآنَ

✧ Let us go and visit the martyr. He gave her permission that the call to prayer be made for her, and that she lead the people of her household in the obligatory prayer. She had memorized the Qur'an.
