أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّدَفِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ حُمْرَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ:

أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ دَعَا يَوْمًا وَضُوءًا، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي صِفَةِ وُضُوءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَقَالَ: ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُمْنَى إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَالْيُسْرَى مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

✧ Uthman one day called for water for ablution, and he mentioned the hadith describing the ablution of the Prophet ﷺ, and said: Then he washed his right foot up to the ankles three times, and the left similarly.
