أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

فَإِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقُولُوا: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَإِذَا قَالَ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، فَقُولُوا: رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ

Translation

  9. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ So when the imam says: 'Allahu Akbar,' then you say: 'Allahu Akbar.' And when he says: 'Allah hears the one who praises Him,' then you say: 'Our Lord, to You belongs praise.'
