✧ Ibn Wahb narrated to us, from 'Amr b. al-Harith, from Yazid b. Abi Habib, from 'Amr b. al-Walid, from Anas b. Malik, raising it, meaning: the like of this. Abu Bakr said: "I dictated the first part and it is mursal, because the hadith of Anas that comes after it was narrated to us by 'Isa immediately after it, meaning with its like. Were it not for that, I would not have included the mursal report in this book."
