✧ Sa'd was struck in his median cubital vein. The Prophet ﷺ pitched a tent for him in the mosque so that he could visit him from nearby. He said: His wound began to close and heal. He said: 'O Allah, You know that the people I most loved to fight were those who denied Your Prophet, expelled him, and did such and such. I think You have ended the war between us and them. So cause this wound to burst open, so that my death occurs from it.' He said: While they were one night, his wound burst open and blood flowed from his injury until it reached the people's tent. They called out: 'O people of the tent, what is this blood coming to us from your direction?' They looked and found that the base of his neck had burst open from his median cubital vein, and the blood was gushing from him.
