أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَعْبٍ صَغِيرٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهُ فَقُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ: أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قُلْتُ: فَأَنْتُمْ ؟ قَالَ: كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الصَّلَوَاتِ بِالْوُضُوءِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a small wooden bowl and performed wudu' from it. I asked Anas, "Did the Prophet ﷺ perform wudu' for every prayer?" He said, "Yes." I said, "What about you?" He said, "We used to pray the prayers with one wudu'."
