✧ I spent the night in the house of my maternal aunt Maymunah, and I observed how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray at night. He urinated, then washed his face and hands, then slept. Then he got up, untied the strap of the water skin, and poured into the large bowl — or the platter — and performed wudu' in a manner between two wudu's. Then he stood to pray, so I got up and performed wudu', then I came and stood on his left, and he took me and placed me on his right.
