✧ The people became thirsty on the day of Hudaybiyyah while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a small leather water container in front of him from which he was performing wudu'. The people rushed toward him. He said, "What is the matter with you?" They said, "We have no water to perform wudu' or drink except what is in front of you." He placed his hands in the container and supplicated as Allah willed him to supplicate. The water began to gush from between his fingers like springs. We drank and performed wudu'. I asked Jabir, "How many were you?" He said, "We were fifteen hundred, and if we had been a hundred thousand it would have sufficed us."
