✧ This verse was only revealed: 'So wherever you turn, there is the face of God' — that you may pray in whatever direction your mount turns with you during travel. When the Messenger of God ﷺ returned from Makkah, he would pray on his mount as a voluntary prayer, gesturing with his head toward Madinah.
