حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ بِي الْبَاصُورُ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ: صَلِّ قَائِمًا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَجَالِسًا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَى جَنْبٍ ". وَفِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ: كَانَتْ بِي بَوَاسِيرُ

✧ I had hemorrhoids, so I asked the Prophet ﷺ about prayer. He said: “Pray standing; if you cannot, then sitting; and if you cannot, then on your side.” In the hadith of Ibn al-Mubārak, he said: I had hemorrhoids.
