حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ، فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ "، فَقَالَ لَهُ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ: " يَكْفِي أَحَدَنَا مَمْشَاهُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى يَضْطَجِعَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، فَقَالَ: أَكْثَرَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: هَلْ تُنْكِرُ مِمَّا يَقُولُ شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَلَكِنَّهُ اجْتَرَأَ، وَجَبُنَّا، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقَالَ: مَا ذَنْبِي إِنْ كُنْتُ حَفِظْتُ وَنَسُوا
Translation

✧ When one of you prays the two rak'ahs of Fajr, let him lie down on his right side." Marwan b. al-Hakam said to him, "Is it not enough for one of us to walk to the mosque until he lies down?" He said, "No." That reached Ibn Umar, and he said, "Abu Hurayrah has said too much." It was said to him, "Do you reject anything he says?" He said, "No, but he was bold while we were timid." That reached Abu Hurayrah, and he said, "What is my sin if I remembered and they forgot?"
