أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بِخَبَرٍ غَرِيبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ فَلَا يَغْمِسْ يَدَهُ فِي إِنَائِهِ أَوْ فِي وَضُوئِهِ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَهَا؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ أَتَتْ يَدُهُ مِنْهُ

✧ When one of you wakes from sleep, he should not dip his hand into his vessel or into his ablution water until he washes it; for he does not know where his hand came from.
