أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ فَلَا يَغْمِسْ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَهَا ثَلَاثًا؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ

✧ When one of you wakes from sleep, he should not dip his hand into the vessel until he washes it three times; for he does not know where his hand spent the night.
