The total number of the Badr participants
[ عَدَدُ الْبَدْرِيِّينَ جَمِيعًا ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: فَجَمِيعُ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ مَنْ شَهِدَهَا مِنْهُمْ، وَمَنْ ضُرِبَ لَهُ بِسَهْمِهِ وَأَجْرِهِ، ثَلَاثَةُ ماِئَةِ رَجُلٍ وَأَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلًا، مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ ثَلَاثَةٌ وَثَمَانُونَ رَجُلًا، وَمِنْ الْأَوْسِ وَاحِدٌ وَسِتُّونَ رَجُلًا، وَمِنْ الْخَزْرَجِ مِئَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ رَجُلًا
Translation
✧ [ The number of the Badrīs in all ] Ibn Isḥāq said: The total number of Muslims who witnessed Badr, from the Emigrants and the Helpers, those among them who were present, and those for whom his arrow-shot and his reward was struck, was three hundred and fourteen men; of the Emigrants, eighty-three men; of the Aws, sixty-one men; and of the Khazraj, one hundred and seventy men.
