The Helpers and those with them
[ مِنْ بَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ وَحُلَفَائِهِمْ ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَمِنْ بَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَوْفِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ: جَبْرُ بْنُ عَتِيكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ هَيْشَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَمَالِكُ بْنُ نُمَيْلَةَ، حَلِيفٌ لَهُمْ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ، وَالنُّعْمَانُ بْنُ عَصَرٍ، حَلِيفٌ لَهُمْ مِنْ بَلِيٍّ. ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ
Translation
✧ From Banū Muʿāwiyah and their allies. Ibn Isḥāq said: And from Banū Muʿāwiyah b. Mālik b. ʿAwf b. ʿAmr b. ʿAwf: Jabr b. ʿAtīk b. al-Ḥārith b. Qays b. Hayshah b. al-Ḥārith b. Umayyah b. Muʿāwiyah, and Mālik b. Numaylah, their ally from Muzaynah, and al-Nuʿmān b. ʿAṣar, their ally from Balī. Three persons.
