The Helpers and those with them
[ مِنْ بَنِي غُنْمٍ ] وَقَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَمِنْ بَنِي غَنْمِ بْنِ السَّلْمِ بْنِ امْرِئِ الْقَيْسِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْأَوْسِ سَعْدُ بْنُ خَيْثَمَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ النَّحَّاطِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ غَنْمٍ، وَمُنْذِرُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ عَرْفَجَةَ، وَمَالِكُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ عَرْفَجَةَ. قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ: عَرْفَجَةُ: ابْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ النَّحَّاطِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ غَنَمٍ. قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ عَرْفَجَةَ، وَتَمِيمٌ، مَوْلَى بَنِي غَنَمٍ. خَمْسَةُ نَفَرٍ. قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ: تَمِيمٌ: مَوْلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ خَيْثَمَةَ
Translation
✧ [From the Banū Ghunm] Ibn Isḥāq said: And from the Banū Ghunm b. al-Salm b. Imriʾ al-Qays b. Mālik b. al-Aws were Saʿd b. Khaythamah b. al-Ḥārith b. Mālik b. Kaʿb b. al-Naḥḥāṭ b. Kaʿb b. Ḥārithah b. Ghunm, Mundhir b. Qudāmah b. ʿArfajah, and Mālik b. Qudāmah b. ʿArfajah. Ibn Hishām said: ʿArfajah was the son of Kaʿb b. al-Naḥḥāṭ b. Kaʿb b. Ḥārithah b. Ghunm. Ibn Isḥāq said: And al-Ḥārith b. ʿArfajah, and Tamīm, the client of the Banū Ghunm. Five persons. Ibn Hishām said: Tamīm was the client of Saʿd b. Khaythamah.
