Kisrā and the sending of the Prophet ﷺ
[ إسْلَامُ بَاذَانَ ] قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ بَاذَانَ بَعَثَ بِإِسْلَامِهِ وَإِسْلَامِ مَنْ مَعَهُ مِنْ الْفُرْسِ إلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ. فَقَالَتْ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ الْفُرْسِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ: إلَى مَنْ نَحْنُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ: أَنْتُمْ مِنَّا وَإِلَيْنَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ
Translation
✧ [The conversion of Bādhān] al-Zuhrī said: When that reached Bādhān, he sent his conversion and the conversion of those Persians with him to the Messenger of God ﷺ. The Persian messengers said to the Messenger of God ﷺ: “To whom do we belong, O Messenger of God?” He said: “You are from us and to us, O people of the house.”
