[ عَدَدُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ إلَى الْحَبَشَةِ ] فَكَانَ جَمِيعُ مَنْ لَحِقَ بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ، وَهَاجَرَ إلَيْهَا مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، سِوَى أَبْنَائِهِمْ الَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا بِهِمْ مَعَهُمْ صِغَارًا وَوُلِدُوا بِهَا، ثَلَاثَةً وَثَمَانِينَ رَجُلًا، إنْ كَانَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ فِيهِمْ، وَهُوَ يُشَكُّ فِيهِ
Translation
✧ [The number of emigrants to Abyssinia] The total number of those Muslims who reached the land of Abyssinia and emigrated to it, excluding their sons whom they took with them as infants and who were born there, was eighty-three men, if ʿAmmār b. Yāsir was among them, though there is doubt about him.
