قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: ثُمَّ خَرَجَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ، وَتَتَابَعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ حَتَّى اجْتَمَعُوا بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ، فَكَانُوا بِهَا، مِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَرَجَ بِأَهْلِهِ مَعَهُ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَرَجَ بِنَفْسِهِ لَا أَهْلَ لَهُ مَعَهُ. [ مَنْ خَرَجَ إلَى أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ] ( و ) مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ قُصَيِّ بْنِ كِلَابِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ لُؤَيِّ بْنِ غَالِبِ بْنِ فِهْرٍ: جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ، مَعَهُ امْرَأَتُهُ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ قُحَافَةَ بْنِ خَثْعَمٍ، وَلَدَتْ لَهُ بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، رَجُلٌ.
Translation
✧ Ibn Isḥāq said: Then Jaʿfar b. Abī Ṭālib ؓ went out, and the Muslims followed one after another until they gathered in the land of the Abyssinians, and they remained there. Among them were those who went out with their families, and among them were those who went out alone, with no family accompanying them. [Those who went out to the land of the Abyssinians from Banū Hāshim] (and) from Banū Hāshim b. ʿAbd Manāf b. Quṣayy b. Kilāb b. Murrah b. Kaʿb b. Luʾayy b. Ghālib b. Fihr: Jaʿfar b. Abī Ṭālib b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib b. Hāshim, with him his wife Asmāʾ bt. ʿUmays b. al-Nuʿmān b. Kaʿb b. Mālik b. Quḥāfah b. Khathʿam. She bore him in the land of the Abyssinians ʿAbd Allāh b. Jaʿfar, a man.
