His marriage to Khadījah
[ زَوَاجُهُ بِخَدِيجَةَ ] وَكَانَ جَمِيعُ مَنْ تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ: خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ، وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَزَوَّجَ، زَوَّجَهُ إيَّاهَا أَبُوهَا خُوَيْلِدُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، وَيُقَالُ أَخُوهَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خُوَيْلِدٍ، وَأَصْدَقَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عِشْرِينَ بَكْرَةً، فَوَلَدَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلَدَهُ كُلَّهُمْ إلَّا إبْرَاهِيمَ، وَكَانَتْ قَبْلَهُ عِنْدَ أَبِي هَالَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَحَدِ بَنِي أُسَيِّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، حَلِيفِ بَنِي عَبْدِ الدَّارِ، فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ هِنْدَ بْنَ أَبِي هَالَةَ، وَزَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي هَالَةَ، وَكَانَتْ قَبْلَ أَبِي هَالَةَ عِنْدَ عُتَيِّقِ بْنِ عَابِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ مَخْزُومٍ، فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ، وَجَارِيَةً. قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ: جَارِيَةٌ مِنْ الْجَوَارِي، تَزَوَّجَهَا صَيْفِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي رِفَاعَةَ
Translation
✧ [His marriage to Khadījah] The total number of women whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married was thirteen: Khadījah bt. Khuwaylid, and she was the first whom he married. Her father Khuwaylid b. Asad gave her in marriage to him, and it is said her brother ʿAmr b. Khuwaylid did. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave her a dowry of twenty young she-camels. She bore the Messenger of Allah ﷺ all his children except Ibrāhīm. Before him she had been married to Abū Hālah b. Mālik, one of the Banū Usayyid b. ʿAmr b. Tamīm, an ally of the Banū ʿAbd al-Dār, and she bore him Hind b. Abī Hālah and Zaynab bt. Abī Hālah. Before Abū Hālah she had been married to ʿUtayyiq b. ʿĀbid b. ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿUmar b. Makhzūm, and she bore him ʿAbd Allāh and a slave-girl. Ibn Hishām said: A slave-girl among the slave-girls; Ṣayfī b. Abī Rifāʿah married her.
