The Death of al-Muṭṭalib and the Poetry Composed in Elegy for Him
[ مَوْتُ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَمَا قِيلَ فِي رِثَائِهِ مِنْ الشِّعْرِ ] ثُمَّ هَلَكَ الْمُطَّلِبُ بِرَدْمَانَ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْيَمَنِ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْعَرَبِ يَبْكِيهِ:
Translation
✧ [The death of al-Muṭṭalib and what was said in elegy of him in poetry] Then al-Muṭṭalib perished at Radmān in the land of Yemen, and a man of the Arabs said, weeping for him:
