The expedition of ʿAbd Allāh b. Unays to kill Khālid b. Sufyān b. Nubayḥ al-Hudhalī
[ غَزَوَاتٌ أُخَرُ ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَغَزْوَةُ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ مُؤْتَةَ مِنْ أَرْضِ الشَّامِ، فَأُصِيبُوا بِهَا جَمِيعًا، وَغَزْوَةُ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ الْغِفَارِيُّ ذَاتَ أَطْلَاحٍ، مِنْ أَرْضِ الشَّامِ، أُصِيبَ بِهَا هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ جَمِيعًا. وَغَزْوَةُ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ حِصْنِ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ بَدْرٍ بَنِي الْعَنْبَرِ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ
Translation
✧ [OTHER EXPEDITIONS] Ibn Isḥāq said: And the expedition of Zayd b. Ḥārithah, Jaʿfar b. Abī Ṭālib, and ʿAbd Allāh b. Rawāḥah to Muʾtah in the land of Syria, where they were all killed; and the expedition of Kaʿb b. ʿUmayr al-Ghifārī to Dhāt Aṭlāḥ in the land of Syria, where he and all his companions were killed; and the expedition of ʿUyaynah b. Ḥiṣn b. Ḥudhayfah b. Badr against Banū al-ʿAnbar of Banū Tamīm.
