Account of those of the polytheists who were killed on the day of Uḥud
[ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ من قتل من المشركين يوم أحد ] وَمِنْ بَنِي أَسَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ قُصَيِّ: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَسَدٍ. قَتَلَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ. رَجُلٌ. [ مِنْ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ من قتل من المشركين يوم أحد ] وَمِنْ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ بْنِ كِلَابٍ: أَبُو الْحَكَمِ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ بْنِ شَرِيقِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ وَهْبٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَلِيفٌ لَهُمْ، قَتَلَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ؛ وَسِبَاعُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى - وَاسْمُ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى: عَمْرُو بْنُ نَضْلَةَ بْنِ غُبْشَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ مَلَكَانِ بْنِ أَفْصَى - حَلِيفٌ لَهُمْ مِنْ خُزَاعَةَ، قَتَلَهُ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ. رَجُلَانِ. [ مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ من قتل من المشركين يوم أحد ] وَمِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومِ بْنِ يَقَظَةَ، هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَتَلَهُ قُزْمَانُ؛ وَالْوَلِيدُ بْنُ الْعَاصِ بْنِ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَتَلَهُ قُزْمَانُ: وَأَبُو أُمَيَّةَ بْنُ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَتَلَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ الْأَعْلَمِ، حَلِيفٌ لَهُمْ، قَتَلَهُ قُزْمَانُ. أَرْبَعَةُ نَفَرٍ
Translation
✧ [From Banū Asad: those of the polytheists killed on the day of Uḥud] And from Banū Asad b. ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā b. Quṣayy: ʿAbd Allāh b. Ḥumayd b. Zuhayr b. al-Ḥārith b. Asad. ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib killed him. One man. [From Banū Zuhrah: those of the polytheists killed on the day of Uḥud] And from Banū Zuhrah b. Kilāb: Abū al-Ḥakam b. al-Akhnas b. Sharīq b. ʿAmr b. Wahb al-Thaqafī, an ally of theirs. ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib killed him; and Sibāʿ b. ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā — and the name of ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā is ʿAmr b. Naḍlah b. Ghubshān b. Sulaym b. Malakān b. Afṣā — an ally of theirs from Khuzāʿah. Ḥamzah b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib killed him. Two men. [From Banū Makhzūm: those of the polytheists killed on the day of Uḥud] And from Banū Makhzūm b. Yaqaẓah: Hishām b. Abī Umayyah b. al-Mughīrah, Quzmān killed him; and al-Walīd b. al-ʿĀṣ b. Hishām b. al-Mughīrah, Quzmān killed him; and Abū Umayyah b. Abī Ḥudhayfah b. al-Mughīrah, ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib killed him; and Khālid b. al-Aʿlam, an ally of theirs, Quzmān killed him. Four individuals.
