Sahih Ibn Hibban 989

Remove sins from the worshipper by virtue of the Chosen One, ﷺ .

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الرِّفَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَرِيزٍ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَدْعُو لِأَخِيهِ بِظَهْرِ الْغَيْبِ إِلَّا قَالَ الْمَلَكُ وَلَكَ بِمِثْلٍ وَلَكَ بِمِثْلٍ»

✧ “There is no Muslim who supplicates for his brother in his absence except that the angel says, 'And for you the like.' And for you the like.”
