✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited the words of Allah, Majestic and Exalted, concerning Ibrahim: {Indeed, they have led many people astray. So whoever follows me is of me, and whoever disobeys me—indeed, You are Forgiving and Merciful.} And 'Isa said: {If You punish them, they are Your servants.} Then he raised his hands and said, "O Allah, my ummah, my ummah," and wept. So Allah said, "O Jibril, go to Muhammad ﷺ—and your Lord knows best—and ask him what makes him weep." Jibril came to him and asked him, and he told him what he had said—and Allah knows best. Then Allah said, "O Jibril, go to Muhammad and say: We will please you concerning your ummah and will not displease you."
