أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ بِالْبَصْرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ وَنَحْنُ شُهُودٌ فَأُتِيَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِفَرَسٍ فَرَكِبَهُ فَجَعَلَ يَتَوَقَّصُ بِهِ وَنَحْنُ نَسْعَى حَوْلَهُ فَقَالَ ﷺ «كَمْ مِنْ عِذْقٍ لِأَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ مُعَلَّقٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»

✧ "The Prophet ﷺ prayed upon Abu Duhdah while we were present. The Prophet ﷺ was brought a horse and he rode it while we crowded around him. He said ﷺ, 'How many delights are there for Abu Duhdah hanging in Paradise!'"
