أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي جَنَازَةِ أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا أُتِيَ بِفَرَسٍ فَرَكِبَهُ وَنَحْنُ نَسْعَى خَلْفَهُ فَقَالَ ﷺ «كَمْ مِنْ عِذْقٍ مُدَلًّى لِأَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»

✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ at the funeral of Abu Dahdah. After he prayed upon him, a horse was brought and he rode it while we were running behind him. He ﷺ said, "How many splendid gardens (or rides) for Abu Dahdah in Paradise!"
