✧ "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ died in my house, on my day, and between my magic and sacrifice. Then Abdullah ibn Abu Bakr entered with a wet toothstick (miswak). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at it, so I thought that he needed it. I took it, chewed on it, and perfumed it. Then I handed it to him, so he used it as beautifully as I had ever seen anyone using it before. Then he wanted to hand it back to me, but it fell from his hand. So I took it, and I sought assistance with a supplication that he used to make when he got sick, but he did not make that supplication during his sickness. Then he looked up to the sky and said, 'The Highest Companion, the Highest Companion.' Then his soul departed. Praise be to Allah who has brought my saliva and his saliva together on the last day of his life in this world."
