Translation

✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ in a cave when {By those sent forth in succession} was revealed to him. I took it from his mouth, and his mouth was still moist with it. I do not know with which verse he concluded—{Then in what statement after it will they believe?} or {And when it is said to them, "Bow," they do not bow}. A snake darted ahead of us and entered a hole. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You were protected from its evil as it was protected from your evil."
