✧ We came to visit Khabbab when he was ill. He said: “We emigrated with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking the face of Allah, and our reward fell upon Allah. Among us are those who have passed on without consuming any of their reward. Among them is Musʿab b. ʿUmayr, who was killed on the day of Uhud and left behind a cloak. When we covered his head with it, his feet showed, and when we covered his feet, his head showed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us to cover his head with it and put some idhkhir over his feet.”
