✧ I asked about Ali at his home and was told that he had gone to bring the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he came, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered, and I entered. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on the bed, seated Fatimah on his right, Ali on his left, and Hasan and Husayn in front of him, and said, "{Allah only desires to remove from you the impurity}, O people of the household, and to purify you thoroughly. O Allah, these are my family." Wathilah said, "I said from the corner of the house, 'And I, O Messenger of Allah, am I from your family?' He said, 'And you are from my family.'" Wathilah said, "That is among the most hopeful things I hope for."
