✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us during his illness in which he died, with his head bandaged. I followed him until he stood on the minbar and said: "Indeed I am at this moment standing at the Hawd." Then he said: "Indeed a servant was offered the world and its adornment, and he chose the Hereafter." None of the people understood it except Abu Bakr, who said: "May my father and mother be your ransom; rather we ransom you with our wealth, our selves, and our children." He said: Then he descended from the minbar, and he was not seen on it again until this hour.
